Improvements to Geyserville New Technology Academy
The Geyserville Unified School District having passed a general obligation bond is making a number of major improvements to its New Tech Academy including expanding its Career Technical Education Facilities. As a part of this project the District has proposed additional facilities and improvements that will facilitate broader community use of these facilities including farmers markets and space for community events and also for use during emergencies.
Following a formal request by the GUSD, the GAV-MAC approved a recommendation for $282,000 from the Mitigation Fund at its December 2021 meeting to support construction of the proposed community serving improvements at the New Tech Academy. The Board of Supervisors has yet to appropriate the funding.
