Improvements to Alexander Valley School - Now Completed
The Alexander Valley School currently serves as the official emergency/evacuation center in Alexander Valley. As part of bond-funded improvements to the school the District proposed additional improvements to improve facilities that serve the emergency/evacuation center.

District identified need for $168,000 to augment District bond funding allowing completion of emergency center enhancements to overall School upgrading project.
GAV-MAC approved a recommendation for $168,000 funding from the Mitigation Fund at its November 2020 meeting; the Board of Supervisors appropriated the funding in March 2021.
Following a request by the District, the GAV-MAC approved a recommendation for an additional $50,000 from the Mitigation Fund at its August 2021 meeting; the Board of Supervisors appropriated the funding in November 2021.
August 2022 the project has been completed.
