Downtown Geyserville Drainage Improvements

  • Summary

Properties in central Geyserville are subject to episodic localized flooding due to aging and inadequate storm drainage, particularly crossing SR 128 and also crossing private properties. This project would involve completion of a feasibility study (costs and funding sources) for these improvements and ongoing maintenance.

  • Status

DTPW and Committee members have completed scoping specific drainage improvements and need move on to related engineering efforts and cost estimates. No Mitigation Funds needed for the design phase of the project. A FEMA Grant was awarded to conduct assessment, define projects and estimate cost for the drainage improvements and the role, including from the Mitigation Funds. In addition, a contractor has been retained and work is underway.
